What is an All Night Grad Party?

Since 1987, Fairfax County high schools have hosted safe, alcohol and drug free all night graduation celebrations for their seniors. Not a single graduate who attended an ANGP has been killed or injured in an alcohol related accident on graduation night since the celebrations began over 30 years ago.
West Springfield High School parents’ goal is to provide a safe environment for the entire senior class to join together, make memories and celebrate with their classmates one last time as a Spartan.

Who organizes the party?

All Night Grad Party is a committee of the WSHS PTSA. Parents of the senior class plan, organize and supervise the party. We invite Junior and other underclass parents to PAY IT FORWARD by volunteering to co-chair a committee and attend meetings to learn about how the party is planned and run. These parent volunteers also offer significant help in setting up and volunteering the night of the event. Planning and fundraising begin in the spring of the previous school year and continue throughout the entire school year.

Can I leave early?

Our goal is for seniors to stay safe at the party All Night long. If there is a medical issue during the party or pre-arranged need to leave at a set time, that will be allowed.

How do I get to the party?

Each student is responsible for his or her own transportation to and from the party.

Can I bring in someone who is not a West Springfield Senior?

No, only registered West Springfield Seniors may attend. This party is specifically for the West Springfield High School Senior Class.

How do I know if I am on the list as having made a reservation?

Look for your name on the ANGP bulletin board outside the cafeteria. Everyone who has made a reservation will be listed there. And check out the Look Who’s Coming list on the website. All reservation questions should be emailed to the ANGP Committee at wshsangp@gmail.com.

If I don’t have a reservation, can I still make one?

Yes! The last chance to make a reservation will be shortly before graduation. But the closer it gets to the party, the higher the cost. So, make your reservation now.

How do I make a reservation for the party?

You can make a reservation by filling out the online form and making payment online or delivering the payment payable to WSHS PTSA ANGP to the Main office.

What if want to pay for the party with a check or cash?

If you want to pay for the party with a check or cash, complete the online form and submit, then mail or bring your payment to WSHS Main Office.

Do I need to bring anything?

Seniors should bring minimal personal items such as keys, phone, swimsuit and empty water bottle. Your items will be checked for security and safety reasons upon entry and placed in the Bag Room. It is strongly recommended to leave all valuables at home as the ANGP Committee will not be responsible for lost, missing, or damaged items. No outside food or beverages are allowed at the party. You may bring an empty water bottle to fill at the venue. There will plenty of food and drink at the party!

Do I need money?

No, everything is provided.
